Meet the Music Team
Tyrell Jackson
Music Program Director
Tyrell oversees the vision, curriculum, and day-to-day operation of the Academy. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, he relocated to Amarillo specifically to help launch the Acts Community Music Academy. With more than a decade of experience in youth development, over 2,100 group music lessons taught, and a key role in launching four music schools internationally. Tyrell brings exceptional leadership, expertise, and a proven track record of building music programs that inspire young people to grow both musically and personally.
Bronwyn Wright
Teen Life Internship Director
Bronwyn leads the development, mentorship, and training of the Academy's student instructors. After graduating from the University of Texas, she returned to Amarillo to help build the Acts Community Music Academy from the ground up. A lifelong musician with years of experience mentoring teenagers, she equips interns with the musical and leadership skills needed to confidently lead younger students.
Chad Conner
Founder / Executive Director
Chad is the Founder and Executive Director of Acts Community, where he leads the vision and growth of a multi-program organization serving seniors, youth, and families across Amarillo. Since founding the organization in 2010, Chad has helped grow Acts Community into a trusted community resource providing thousands of meals, meaningful connections, and life-changing programs each year. He now oversees the continued expansion of Acts Community’s youth and after-school initiatives, including the Acts Community Music Academy
