Education / Prevention
Education is the cornerstone of our anti-trafficking strategy, serving as the essential tool for prevention. At Acts Community, we are committed to delivering comprehensive education and training to diverse groups, with a particular focus on reaching those who might otherwise lack access to this critical information.

We prioritize providing knowledge to families and children, especially in underserved rural areas, where such resources are often scarce. By equipping these communities with the awareness and tools they need, we strive to prevent trafficking and safeguard vulnerable individuals.

Healing / Support Services
Healing and support services are crucial for survivors of human trafficking, providing the vital assistance needed to recover from severe trauma and exploitation. These services are not just important—they are fundamental to the survivors' journey towards healing and empowerment.
Recognizing the profound impact of these needs, we are dedicated to developing a comprehensive suite of programs tailored to support recovery and promote long-term mental health and well-being. Our goal is to offer a robust network of care that addresses both immediate needs and fosters enduring resilience, helping survivors rebuild their lives with dignity and strength.
Re-write Your Story
Re-write Your Story harnesses the transformative power of biblically based truth and thoughtfully designed writing exercises to address trauma through guided healing. Each impactful session provides participants with tools to reframe their perspectives, enabling them to separate past experiences from future possibilities.

Studies show that expressing emotional pain through writing can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety by up to 40%. This innovative workshop not only aids in individual healing, but also promotes collective recovery while preserving complete anonymity. This allows participants to navigate past wounds and disappointments within a supportive and confidential environment, where they are empowered to rewrite their story and move forward with hope and purpose.
Trafficking Survivors group (launching January 2025)
Survivor groups are invaluable to those with shared experience, providing a safe and nurturing space for individuals to foster connection and grow together. This sense of community offers substantial mental health benefits by alleviating feelings of isolation and stigma.
Participants gain crucial emotional validation and support, which are essential for healing. Additionally, this group offers practical resources and advocacy, enabling survivors to navigate the complexities of recovery and rebuild their lives with greater confidence. By sharing their journeys and accessing tools through communal support, survivors not only develop emotional resilience but also receive the practical assistance needed for their continued well-being and growth.

This group is being developed collaboratively by survivor leaders, alongside a neurologist who together have designed a compassionate, balanced curriculum and community-building approach for lasting healing, continued growth and mindset shifts to provide a space for participants to excel in all aspects of their life. Combining lived experiences with expert insights, this team ensures a comprehensive approach to transition from a survival mindset to truly thriving, empowering survivors to step into a future where they can excel, rediscover joy, and live with resilience, strength, and purpose.
